I’m back from a simply FABULOUS time at the beach. Spent a ridiculous amount of time laying on the sand, hearing the waves rolling in, while reading trashy novels. (especially ridiculous since it was overcast and rainy the first few days LOL! I love rain on the beach… there’s something so peaceful and raw about it)
Tragedy of the trip: I lost my digital camera over the side of the sailboat! (which made the dilemma of HOW to spend the lovely gift certificate I received ever-so-much easier to solve! new camera is in the mail!) I lost my balance and when I reached to steady myself, it was either my camera or my cocktail. Bye bye camera! ha While we spent alot of time out at night partying, it was actually a very restful vacation. A bonus to accidently scheduling our trip during spring break (I was cringing thinking that it would be a bit girls-gone-wild … or worse fat-frat-boys-gone wild … it wasn’t) was that there were alot of fun parties and several good bands playing. It didn’t make up for missing SXSW here in Austin, but… it was fun. (p.s. that little timing screw-up of scheduling our beach vacay so that we missed SXSW and so that we even had a possibility of running into spring-break-madness is the reason why my friend isn’t scheduling our vacay’s EVER again haha) I’m glad to be home, as always. Although I’m feeling less content with “home” since I’ve begun my new-home search. I’m thinking I might actually go with the over-the-top 4 bedroom home I fell in love with, even though it’s a bit more house than I need. But… really… if I turn one of the bedrooms into a closet/dressing room/boudoir and have one of the bedrooms as an office and one as a guest room… then it doesn’t seem extravagant at all. As a matter of fact… the 3 bedroom places start to seem a bit smallish. Ahhhh these are the thought processes that lead me to such extravagant self-indulgence. C’est la vie! I actually missed some of you dorks! One of the things I’m really enjoying about having LESS to do with the lurking trollers is that I have MORE fun (and more depth) with my fav boys. I spent some of my time lazing about on the beach thinking about all of this *waves arms grandly* … online stuff… but more later about that. For now, my coffee is ready and Sunday brunch is ahead… Be good boys! xoxo

I’m off to the beach with the girls! Yay for fun and sun (I’m ignoring the reports of possible rain for 1/2 of the week… even if it rains we’ll have fun, but I’m using all my evil powers to try to mojo the rain clouds away).
For those of you little addicted-to-me subbies out there… you’ll survive. I promise. And I won’t be totally in absentia… I will be online a (very) little and I’ll have my phone with me. And you have lots to keep you busy: work work work while I play play play. Ahhhh isn’t it purrfect?

I’ve been having a delightful time taking my very best boys to new depths lately. And tormenting a few sluts who amuse me. And ignoring the rest of you losers, too, hahaha… yes, even that is FUN.
I went to my p.o. box to pick up a few packages I was expecting (Victoria’s Secret is making me nuts with how long they can take to send gifties) and found 3 surprises waiting for me. One turned out to be from my little labrat (a pair of BEAUTIFUL earrings from Neiman’s
I wore them this weekend and got so many compliments… they are mother of pearl flowers … Stephen Dweck… one of my fav jewelry designers) but the other 2 are still mysteries.
I’m not saying what the other gifts are until I find out who sent them or whether I have another anonymous spoiler out there. OOOOH maybe it’s the spoiler from last year… this could be another influx of anonymous prezzies. Purrrrrrrs. LOUDLY.
I love getting extravagant surprise gifts!
Ohhhh speaking of extravagant… Maddy passed her little shopping beneficiary around the room the other night, and I have my hair appointment, my manicure and pedicure, AND a pair of hot sandals for summer as a prezzie! What a lucky boy he was getting to spoil FIVE of us in one night!
I’m off for now to go swimsuit shopping and camera shopping (sorry my little bitch puppy boy who so wanted to buy my camera for me… but I’m sick of waiting for you) for my beach trip next week.
